PMD Healthcare Announces Two New Patient Advisory Boards

LANDSDALE, Pa., Feb. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- PMD Healthcare, a medical device, digital health and chronic care management services company, has announced it is forming two new patient advisory boards: one for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients and caregivers of CF Children, and one for Pulmonary Fibrosis (PF) patients and PF caregivers.

The purpose and charter for these two patient advisory boards is to obtain information and opinions directly from patients and caregivers to better understand their needs, challenges and issues pertaining to managing their daily care plans. PMD Healthcare will also share healthcare industry information and regulations to better inform patients of the changes happening that could affect their lives, and get their feedback and perspectives concerning new healthcare regulations, insurer/payer issues and care management recommendations.

Both the Cystic Fibrosis and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Boards will meet bi-monthly via online video conferencing with the meeting running for approximately one hour. Participants will be compensated for their time and will be given the opportunity to become "thought leaders" by sharing their views in blogs, videos, podcasts and social media sites.
