Rational Surgical Solutions Announces New Chief Operating Officer
DES MOINES, Iowa, Sept. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Rational Surgical Solutions (RSS), a leading healthcare technology provider, today announced the hiring of Dennis J. Murphy as chief operating officer and senior vice president of sales. In this position, Murphy will oversee the company's daily operations and lead the sales efforts to deliver technology solutions to clients.
With more than 25 years of experience in technology and sales, Murphy most recently served as vice president of sales and business development at startup Nexistant, providing leadership to define product strategy and solutions, establish credibility for a new SaaS product line and develop new customer relationships. His sales efforts led to new channel partnerships and client relationships with Fortune 500 companies and major healthcare institutions.

Prior to that, he spent nine years as executive vice president at SPL Inc. and more than 10 years as vice president of enterprise technology at Goldman Sachs & Co. Murphy received his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Peter's University, and his Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
